There is NO VAT to pay on any Domestic Solar PV Installation, and Battery Storage when installed with Solar PV
What is Solar PV?
Photovoltaic Panels (also known as PV), are panels which are used to generate electricity. These are not to be confused with solar water heating systems. The panels that we are referring to would normally be referred to as Solar Panels

Contrary to common belief, Solar PV’s do not necessarily use direct sunlight to function; some light is enough for a Solar PV system to work very efficiently in providing energy for your property. Therefore, an investment in photovoltaics ensures electricity for the building not only from those hot sunny summer days it also provides significant energy requirements during cloudy days and winter months. Solar PV performance is directly correlated and proportional to the amount of light received, hence the stronger the sunlight, the more power will be generated.

Don't Know Where to Start?
There are many options available based on your personal circumstances. It can be a minefield to understand - and that's just the jargon!

We have years of experience in installing renewable technology. We have the expertise and knowledge to help you design the best package for your needs. We are not tied to any particular brand meaning we can "mix and match" to get the best set up that meets your requirements.

EV Charging
The majority of charging for your vehicle will be done at home, usually overnight. Solar Panels can be used to power EV Charging points with battery storage allowing you capture excess "energy" and use it at a suitable point for you. In some cases, EV charging costs are zero as these are solely fed from the excess production generated via your installed solar panels.
Do you need Planning Permission?
For the vast majority of installaton, planning permission is NOT required. These installations fall within the Permitted Development Regulations for most properties. We will be able to advise you if planning permission is required.
